Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 September 2026 (terms-2026-09-v1). These are the terms on which WyCo Digital provides Stashery. By creating an account you agree to them. Stashery is currently in a closed beta: it is free, access is by invitation, and features can change or occasionally break while we build it.
About these terms
This agreement is between you and WyCo Digital. WyCo Stashery is operated by Ben Coton, trading as WyCo Digital, a sole trader based in England. Our correspondence address is available on request from the privacy mailbox below. It starts when you create an account and continues until you close it or we end it under "Ending the agreement". If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will show you the new version the next time you sign in and ask you to accept it before continuing; the date at the top tells you which version you are reading.
The service
Stashery is a tool for people who collect, restore and sell model trains and other collectibles: an inventory with photos, cost and profit tracking, AI-assisted item identification, sold-price research, eBay listing and sync, a repair workshop, and (for collectors) wants lists and alerts. Stashery is not a marketplace: it does not sell anything, hold money, or sit between you and a buyer. Where Stashery talks to eBay it does so on your behalf, using the permissions you grant.
Your account
You must be 18 or over. Keep your sign-in email secure; anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. One person per account — do not share sign-in codes. You are responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
Your content
You own the photos, video and records you put into Stashery. You give us the permission we need to store them, process them (including sending photos you choose to our AI identification supplier, and video to our conversion supplier), display them back to you, and — when you tell us to — send them to eBay as part of a listing. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups, which expire within 30 days. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, or photos of other people.
Connecting your eBay account
When you connect eBay you allow Stashery to read your listings, sales, fees and traffic, and to create, revise and end listings when you ask it to. Stashery only publishes, reprices or ends a listing when you press the button that does so. eBay's own terms and fees continue to apply to everything on eBay; you remain responsible for your listings, descriptions, prices, postage settings and sales, and for complying with eBay's rules. You can disconnect at any time from Settings, which destroys the access token Stashery holds for your eBay account; you can also remove Stashery's permission from your eBay account settings.
Acceptable use
Do not use Stashery to break the law or eBay's rules; do not try to access other people's data, probe or overload the service, reverse-engineer it, or use it to run a scraping or reselling service of your own; do not upload malware, unlawful content or content that infringes someone else's rights. We may suspend an account that does any of these.
Pricing information
Sold-price comparisons, recommended prices, "good buy?" verdicts and collection valuations are research aids built from public marketplace data and automated matching. They can be wrong: matches may include the wrong model, small samples are unreliable, and the market moves. They are not valuations for insurance or sale, and not financial advice. You decide what to list, buy and charge, and you are responsible for those decisions.
Availability and support
We aim to keep Stashery available but do not promise any particular uptime, and during the beta we may change or remove features. Planned maintenance will be announced in the app where possible. Help is via the help pages and the in-app problem report; during the beta we reply as quickly as one person can.
Fees, plans and billing
During the beta, Stashery is free and no card is taken. When paid plans open, the plans and prices will be as shown at stashery.co.uk/pricing at the time you subscribe, in pounds sterling. WyCo Digital is not currently VAT registered; the prices shown are the amounts charged. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance by card through our payment provider; we never see or store your card details. A lifetime option, if offered, is a single payment rather than a subscription. You can change or cancel your plan yourself at any time through Settings; cancelling stops future payments and leaves your access in place until the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails we do not immediately remove access — the provider retries, and access changes only when the subscription is finally cancelled. As a consumer you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing. If you asked us to start the service immediately and then cancel within those 14 days, we may keep a proportionate amount for the days you had access.
What happens when a plan ends
Nothing you have recorded is ever deleted because a plan ended. Your data stays visible and exportable on every plan, including the free one; features that belong to a paid plan simply switch off until you upgrade again. A full export of your records is available on every plan. Your records are yours.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account from Settings › Profile; everything in it is deleted within 30 days and the eBay access token Stashery holds is destroyed. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, for prolonged inactivity after notice, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will give at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data. The Privacy Policy describes retention after closure.
Liability
Stashery is provided as it is, and during the beta that includes the possibility of defects and data loss — keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of sales, or losses arising from decisions you make using pricing information, from eBay's actions, or from events outside our reasonable control; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or £50 if you paid nothing).
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting your rights as a consumer to bring a claim where you live. Notices to us: privacy@wyco-digital.co.uk.
